Stodge Podge 2011

The first ever Stodge Podge lunch came out of recommendations by agencies travelling to London from Scotland, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool every year and wanting to host one themselves. With typical northern humour Podge was replaced by Stodge and the venue was chosen in Manchester, Harvey Nichols. www.stodgepodge.com

Manchester agency Code Computerlove came up with the branding and website for the first lunch and the design theme was around the clever use of QR codes. As everyone entered and received their lanyard others in the venue could scan them using their iPhones and read all the details about that individual. Champagne went to the table who grabbed the most info about the people in the room during the day. 100 of the leading lights from design and digital attended the first lunch which ended around 11pm.

Photolink provided the photography during the day and captured the spirit of the lunch on Flickr.
